We held our member’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) last week and elected our new committee for 2026-27. We also bid an emotional farewell to two long-standing members who are leaving the choir. To Roland, our outgoing Chairman and member of the first tenors and to Peter a member of the bass section. For many years Roland and Peter have made a valued contribution to the success of Solent Gay Men’s Chorus, and we will miss them dearly.
The committee are busy planning an exciting programme of events for the year, including our summer concert on Saturday June 20th at the Barn Studio Theatre, Portsmouth (tickets on sale imminently!). We will also be performing at Pride events across the Solent region throughout the summer, so you will have plenty of opportunities to sing along with us wherever you live. Watch this space!
